Service Trade Views | The number of exhibitions held nationwide in 2021 will recover to nearly 70% before the epidemic

      The International Convention and Exhibition Economic Development Forum will be officially

held during the 2022 China (Beijing) International Fair for Trade in Services. At the forum, the

“2021 China Exhibition Index Report” (hereinafter referred to as the “Report”) was officially

released. Data shows that the national exhibition market will pick up in 2021, and the number

of exhibitions will return to nearly 70% of the level in 2019.

     The “Report” pointed out that the number of exhibitions held in 2021 will be 1,603, a year-on

-year increase of 13%, and the total exhibition area will be 74.0996 million square meters, an

increase of 18% year-on-year. Among the exhibition projects planned nationwide in 2021, 60%

of the exhibitions will be held normally, which is a significant increase compared with 2020.
